I spent most of my weekend either celebrating my birthday (it’s the 25th) or out gardening, but I managed to squeeze out one pair of earrings. These are 2 1/4 inch long 16g pieces of copper wire. I pounded them into paddle pins, then twisted them for a little sparkle. The beads are jade big hole rondelles from Turquoise Magpie.
I might be doing a show in April at an Earth Day celebration. I’m trying to organize people in my artist co-op to share a booth. So I need to get busy making stuff so I’ll have something to sell!

Here’s how my bead crack dealer wrote my receipt. LOL

I’ve had this geode slice for a few years. It’s been dyed purple and is about 3″x4″. I have this crazy idea to wire wrap it and hang it from a necklace made of the new amethyst I bought. I hear that big chunky necklaces are the in thing now, and this would be huge.

When my work moved offices, we inherited a bunch of furniture. We were allowed to take home what wasn’t being used. I got a computer desk for my boyfriend and two metal paper sorters for me. They are black, 3 feet long, with 3 removable dividers. I stacked them on top of my desk. I will have to rehang my bulletin board so that it clears the sorters. I also moved my computer off the desk on to the table, where I will have room for my scanner. This way I have 3 clear work areas: paper/jewelry, computer, and rubber stamping. I am hoping to buy two used flat screen monitors from my work, and then get a docking station for my laptop. Then I will be pimpin.

This week I will be going through my beads and planning out projects. Next weekend is the Fort Worth Bead Market, and I need to plan what crack I want/need to buy. I have an empty box just waiting to be filled up! My boyfriend will be at SXSW, so he can’t stop me. Mwahahahaha!
