I made this and now I’m not sure about it. I like the design and the colors, but seeing it in a picture, I’m wondering if this should be a multi-strand necklace to help balance the size of the pendant. Suggestions are welcome.
Aventurine, serpentine, amethyst, and copper. As usual, I got them from Szarka.
I don’t know diddly about jewelry (and don’t wear necklaces), but I was watching the Today Show (whilst my ever-widening cow ass was sitting on the couch. Oh, and eating bon bons.) Anyway! So, they were talking about “statement pieces” and I thought about you.
But to answer your question – I think it’s fine.

The Chunky Aventurine necklace? I think it looks great, going by the photo. Show it around and get some other opinions, I get most people love it.
Love the newer purple piece, too. Yummie purple! Nice balance and design!
