I R a Photographer

I usually use my scanner to scan my jewelry for pictures, but last week I set up a mini photo studio in my dining room. I created a diffuser by taping together some old craft boxes. Recycle! I set it under my monster dining room light, and I lit it from the side with a halogen light. I used a sheet of silver metallic paper for a backdrop, as it’s a nice neutral grey.

I think the pictures turned out pretty well. See them here:



  1. You know what I like most about your mini studio? The craft boxes! LOL. Seriously the pictures turned out very well. They colors are very clear and you can really see the details. Well done!
